CNOS attends the 16th World Future Energy Summit

From April 16th to 18th, the 16th World Future Energy Summit (WFES) was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. China National Nuclear Corporation Overseas (CNOS) participated in the exhibition with the theme of "Atoms for future, Green Home, Blue Dream", and demonstrated the planning of "Zero Carbon Industrial Park" for the first time at this international energy exhibition.

Zhang Yiming, Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, visited CNNC's exhibition booth and discovered the planning of zero-carbon industrial park, high-temperature gas-cooled reactor technology and its future applications. Zhang Yiming appreciated CNNC's contribution to the global energy transition through the use of nuclear energy, and congratulated CNNC on its success at the World Future Energy Summit.

During the summit, CNNC hosted six themed side events. The side events were presided over by Qiao Gang, vice president of CNOS, who shared with the participants the integrated nuclear energy solutions, the comprehensive multi-purpose application of nuclear energy and the design planning of the zero-carbon industrial park. The latest achievements and cutting-edge technologies of nuclear energy such as ACP100, HPR1000 and nuclear fusion were discussed in depth, which demonstrated the profound technical strength and excellent innovation ability of CNNC and attracted many exhibitors. Huang Wei, director of the IAEA Division of Planning, Information and Knowledge Management, attended the side event on the theme of "Powering today and tomorrow with integrated nuclear solution" and highly recognized the efforts and achievements made by CNNC in nuclear technology and sustainable development.
