On January 30th 2024, CNOS and PT PLN Indonesia Power signed a memorandum of understanding on SMR cooperation and development.

CNOS ASEAN Representative office of Indonesia has established close contact with the Indonesian government departments and completed the signing of the MOU through joint efforts. Small reactors adapt to the energy needs of Southeast Asian countries from multiple aspects, including the cost, construction complexity, fuel cycle and site scale.

On the occasion of the 2024 ASEAN-China Year of humanities exchange, CNOS ASEAN will continue to work towards meeting the users’ needs to form customized solutions, and initiate new developments of nuclear energy with ASEAN countries.
